Welcome to Jane Lankester

On Wednesday 15th February, the Reverend Jane Lankester was licensed by the Bishop of Crediton as the new Team Vicar for the Honiton Mission Community.  The service, which took place in St Paul's Church in Honiton, was packed not only with members of the congregations Jane is coming to serve, but with friends from her previous parishes in South Devon, and from all areas of her life. 

Bishop Bob spoke warmly of Jane's gifts as a priest and pastor, and it was very evident how much her former parishioners will miss her. 

We are indeed very lucky to have her as a part of our team.

It is so good to be able to communicate in this way which is, after all, very much a part of the world of the 21st century! In every age Christians are called to proclaim the Gospel - the Good News of Jesus Christ - afresh in ways that are accessible to the society around them.
